Privacy Shield

Your absolute privacy is our baseline. Our commitment to 100% on-device processing means your photos stay strictly yours.

Zero Uploads

Your images are never transmitted across the internet to our servers. Processing happens entirely in your device's memory.

No Tracking

We do not log the contents of your files, track the subjects of your images, or analyze the metadata for any purpose.

Local Storage

Edited photos are saved directly back to your device storage. We don't employ cloud databases or third-party image hosts.

Our Core Privacy Philosophy

At PhotoResizer.in, we believe that privacy shouldn't be a premium feature—it should be the default state of any digital tool. When you upload a private document, passport photo, or confidential signature to our platform, an immediate question arises: "Where does my file go?"

The answer is remarkably simple: It goes nowhere.

How On-Device Processing Works

Traditional image processing services function by taking your file, uploading it to a centralized cloud server (like AWS or Google Cloud), performing the compression or resize operations there, and then sending the revised file back to your browser. This introduces critical vulnerabilities and requires you to trust that the service will delete your file afterwards.

We bypassed this architectural flaw entirely by utilizing modern WebAssembly and HTML5 Canvas technologies. When you select an image on PhotoResizer.in, the actual cryptographic and pixel-manipulation scripts run directly within your browser's local sandbox. Your computer's CPU or your phone's processor handles the workload. At no point is a network request made containing your sensitive photos.

Total Anonymity Guarantee

Because your files are processed locally, we physically cannot access them. Even if we received a legal subpoena or experienced a catastrophic database breach, your images would remain entirely safe—because we possess absolutely no servers where your photos are stored.

Exceptions & Usage Scope

Some highly complex features, such as our AI-powered background removal and server-side PDF compression, currently require secure backend processing due to the heavy computational requirements. In these isolated cases:

  • Files are transmitted securely via TLS (HTTPS) encryption.
  • Files are held entirely in temporary volatile server memory (RAM), never written to a permanent disk.
  • Files are automatically and instantly wiped the millisecond the background operation completes.
  • No backups are kept, and no caching is enabled for individual user uploads.
